Anthony Avu

Anthony is a seasoned energy professional who has worked on projects spanning the globe from South America, Europe, Africa the Middle East, Asia and Australia. Since 2005, he has worked in various capacities offering consultancy services, leading teams and delivering innovative technical solutions within a broad mix of energy focused companies such as GeoTeric, Schlumberger, Eon E&P, EchoGeo and Xodus. Based in the UK, Anthony currently works with CalEnergy a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy where he overseas all geophysical global operations and provides key support to business development activities for the company. A member of the Petroluem Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB), the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) and an active member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG), he has a BSc in Geology and Mining from the University of Jos and an MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from the University of Manchester.
